Colin Moore - Bio
I tried writing this in the third person but couldn’t quite wrap my head around the obituary feel. My name is Colin Moore, a child of the early 70s, born in Halifax, Nova Scotia to a pair of native Maritimers. They’re two of the best people I know. I’m the youngest of three brothers, one of which works for a private accounting firm in Halifax, the other being a musician here in Toronto. Love em all, and not because I have to. I hold a commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, and have since chosen a path of self-discovery/sporadic employment, making the jump to South Korea where I taught English and developed educational curriculum. A recent personal highlight occurred last Spring when a friend and I walked from Toronto to Niagara Falls in support of Free the Children, a non-profit organization which empowers children (5′11″ or shorter) to fund raise for needy communities around the world. And now? Writing, graphic design, filmmaking, coffee, and journalism, which I will pursue at an institution of higher learning this coming fall. Everything else is a mystery. Just the way I like it.
