Jeff, thank you for making us think about our tea-drinking and how far we have come from Texas Lipton (still commonly served in institutional environments). One wonders when that first famous piece of bark fell into a dipper of water and Man discovered tea. Somewhat addicted to coffee myself, I drink tea only for self-defense (health) and sometimes to be sort of British or Moslem. My wife drinks Yogi Kombucha decaffeinated green tea, but her favorite blends are from a company in Kingston, New York called Earth Medicine, especially their teas called "Flower Kisses Green Tea" and "Popeye's Preference."

I think this topic is really interesting! I drink different teas every day and let my mood be my guide, same as when I'm choosing what clothes to wear each day. To me, white teas seem very "light" and I like to drink this before I go jogging, while black is my favorite for rainy day curling up with a good book. For sure, green is best for intellectual pursuits.

That article on the personality types of different tea drinkers was really accurate! I have a broody artist friend (male) who loves smoky yerba maté, and I'm Earl Grey, all the way. Someone has to protect civility in the world. Question: would decaf take the edge off, or make me more of a twit?
