Don’t Sweat The Brewing
You know those sweltering hot days where you just want to sit in the ice cold air conditioning and sipping some iced tea? Well those days will be here before you can say “ice cubes”. You can believe the last thing I want to do when it gets that hot is fire up the stove to boil some water so I can make iced tea. And I don’t want to keep my blinds open with the hot sun beating in long enough to make a pitcher of sun tea.

This summer I’ll be basking in the joys of refrigerator-brewed tea. It’s a cool and simple way to make that tea we all long for on those sweltering summer days that are just around the corner. Simply fill a glass jar or pitcher with cold water and a few tea bags. Let the tea bags steep in the refrigerator overnight. Remove the tea bags and add garnishes such as lemons and oranges to black tea, or mint leaves in green tea.
