White Tea-Licious

There’s no denying the refreshing quality of iced tea on a hot summer day. And the plethora of options available nowadays span across every fruit group to every tea leaf to every degree of sugar content.
My latest favorite comes from the good old standby, Snapple.

Over the years, our wacky friends at Snapple have introduced many beverage amalgamations that dare us to experience new tastes. Their new White Tea line leverages the fresh and mild flavor of white tea (essentially, baby tea leaves) and throws in a generous dash of mouth-watering fruitiness.

These bottled teas are delightfully refreshing, like dialed-up water. But I find them to be much better than many of the fruit-flavored waters on the market, which in my humble opinion often have an unnatural aftertaste (the lemon-flavored waters in particular somehow reek to me of Pledge). Snapple white teas, on the other hand, are thirst-quenching, lightly sweet, tangy tea with a mellow finish.

The Apple variety is my personal favorite, with the juicy flavor of a perfectly ripe granny smith, yet much lighter than regular apple juice. And you know that unmistakable sense of summer you get when you bite into a juicy nectarine and it dribbles down your chin? Well that largely sums up the same refreshing experience you get from a bottle of Snapple White Tea in Nectarine. The Raspberry flavor sums up the trio and is the sweetest of the three.

These teas are reminiscent of fresh fruit salad, without the heavy sugariness of juice. Naturally low in caffeine, the revitalizing coolness of this bottled drink is enough to perk you up on its own. And, like all Snapple beverages, you???ll find a little fortune cookie-esque ???Real Fact??? inside the cap.

What???s not to like about that?
