Java Pop, Java Pop, oh Java, Java, Java, Java Pop

I stumbled upon these little treats in a cute little cafe in Hannibal, Missouri called Java Jive (reported to be the first coffee shop west of the Missisippi.) These Java Pop lollipops, in an assortment of coffee-related flavors like Chocolate Raspberry, Cappuccino, Irish Creme, French Vanilla and Chocolate Almond, are like a cup of International Coffee on a stick. While they aren’t exactly high brow coffee, they are a super-sweet mouthful of caffeine … perfect to throw into your pack to keep you buzzing if you are out of range from your local barista.

I tried the Chocolate Raspberry, and it was a bit too sweet for my liking … but my 12-year-old daughter was a big fan. I had to quickly remove it, else end up with a pre-teen that would soon start bouncing off the walls.

You can order them online from MCJack Candy Company.
