Taking Tea … with a Twist
In a previous issue of Olive magazine, they highlighted a new cocktail borne from the imagination of Adam Parsons of Manchester’s Matt and Phred’s Jazz Club, the Tib Street Tea Party. With a strong nod to British flavors, it combines Hendricks Gin and Chamomile Tea, and they serve it uniquely, in a tea cup.
Tib Street Tea Party
1-1/2 shots of Hendrick’s Gin
1/2 shot of Agavero (tequila liqueur)
1 shot of strong chamomile tea
a dash of elderflower cordial
a dash of lemon or lime juice
sugar syrup, to taste
Put ingredients in ice-filled cocktail shaker, and shake and strain into serving glass.
