Inko’s: What White Tea Tastes Like
The food industry has been abuzz in a major way lately about green tea. It seems everyone from Coca-Cola, to Lipton, to Snapple, to Starbucks and countless companies in between is jumping on the green tea bandwagon. But it looks like white tea might just start a craze pretty soon too. White tea has a higher concentration of the polyphenols that might, notice I said might, give green tea a boost in antioxidents that fight cancer.
Inko’s, the makers of “nine amazing flavors” of white tea. With just 28 calories in each 8 oz bottle, added to that the possible health benefits. Who can resist atleast a taste test? The company was started by a husband and wife tea, after the husband learned the possible health benefits of the white tea his wife had been brewing up for him. Andy Schamisso, the president and founder of Inko’s believes in his product and the potential health benefits so much that he has pledged to donate a portion of each bottle sold to white-tea cancer research.
I know what you’re probably thinking - strange name right? Or you’re like me and you made the guess that Inko has something to do with tea. Nope! This may just be the best part of the whole product to me - the company is named after the Schamisso’s dearly loved dog. Now if that doesn’t make me want to support their product I don’t know what will.
