Teapot Warmer

tea-warmer.jpegNothing is worse than brewing up a pot of tea only to have it get cold before you can fully enjoy it.  You know what I mean, you sit down to relax and sip your tea, and when you go back for a second cup the pot has already cooled down.  So you no longer have hot tea, now you have lukewarm tea.  Recently I discovered something called a teapot warmer.  The idea is really simple.  The warmer is this little glass base with a small tea candle in the bottom, you light the candle and place your teapot on the base.  You’ll find that the warmer gives enough heat to keep your teapot warm without the need for a tea cozy, and it doesn’t put off so much heat that you can’t leave it safely sitting on the table nearby while having your tea.

A teapot warmer is definitely a must have for anyone who regularly brews up a pot of tea.

Neat, does this fit with most standard-size teapots?

Unfortunately I can’t say for sure - I can’t seem to locate an exact measurement anywhere, but I was able to find size info on similar teapot warmers and most were ranging from 5.5″ to 6.5″ in diameter. So I think it would work with most smaller sized teapots.
