Brenda, good question. I know it depends a bit on personal taste, but the Teastick seems to have ample room to scoop the tea in and allow it to expand properly while steeping. The instructions tell you to swirl the Teastick around while it steeps to allow all the bits of dry leaves to unfurl and get exposed to the water.

This does look really cool but I have a question. I have a similar gadget that I thought I'd love but it turns out not to be so. I find with the one I have that there isn't enough room for the tea to properly expand (and I'm not overfilling it).

It's hard to tell from the photo but how much tea can this hold and do you feel it has enough room? Do the tea leaves get proper exposure to the water?

Thanks!
