Valentine Gifts for the Tea Lover

A unique tea gift set is a great gift to give anyone for Valentine’s Day. Both men and women appreciate tea and it can be a loving or platonic gift. |

A Groovy Mind offers the Tealicious gift set for $35. Known for their organic products and fair-trade teas, included in this set is Assam Rembeng Estate tea, White Peony tea, Caramel Apple cookies, Pumpkin Biscotti and Chipotle Savories.

Red Square has a wide variety of tea gift baskets and Tea of the Month options. I like the Romance gift set, which contains two kinds of loose tea and white crystal sugar on a designer tray. Included in this set is the unique Blue Blossom Earl Grey loose tea.

Blooming or flowering tea is one of the hottest new tea trends. The beauty of these teas are when they bloom. Drop them in some hot water and watch it bloom as it brews. It is ideal for a clear glass teapot or mug, but if you do not have one, try brewing the tea in a wine glass for an elegant display. Organic Bouquet offers an organic Flowering Tea Gift Set for $39.95. In addition to nine blooming teas, a glass teapot is included. TeaCuppa offers the Valentine 10 Blooming Flower Tea Set for $40. Each tea is packaged in an Chinese silk shell case and comes with a love tag: Hugs, Kisses, Happiness, Gratitude, Desire, Admiration, Love, Thankfulness, Sincerity and Thoughfulness. Kind of like fortune cookies! Give all ten to one person and split them up and give one to each of your friends. Adagio Teas are well know for their blooming teas. They have a special Valentine’s Offer (pictured above) for $19, which includes ten Red Bloom blossoms and a clear glass tea cup.

Adiago Teas also offers a special Valentines blend of loose tea which “combines the luxurious flavor of fresh-dipped chocolate-covered strawberries with the taste of premium Ceylon black tea.” The loose tea is available with various quantity and pricing options.

And even though it is not love or Valentine’s Day themed, I also like In Pursuit of Tea’s Tea Guide - Asia in a Box for $25. Six different teas, some rare, from various parts of Asia come in a box custom-made in Thailand along with a booklet explaining each of the teas and how to brew them.

I have been drinking Red Square Tea for some time now and absolutely adore the blue blossom earl grey. I thought they were a very small niche tea vendor, but its good to see that others are picking up on them. You really have to try their vitalizing bergamont. It is fabulous!
