Food Network Chefs and H20 - the Mother of all Nice Cuppas
Last weekend was the gourmet treasure trove of the biggest gems of the century, as far as Chefs are concerned! Food Network’s New York City Food and Wine Festival bling blinged the city where “the culinary meet the celebrity chefs of the Food Network” The end-all of foodie trick or treats.
Rachael Ray hosted her “Burger Bash” at MGM. There were tours, tastings all over the Meat Packing district and darn! I really wanted to meet Bobby Flay!
The Chelsea Market was chock full of parties all along its fragrant aisles. One thing I do remember when I worked in the market? It was with all those treats. You finding yourself dying of thirst. Evian to the super sponsor rescue! Hardly a problem when you have maestro mixologists shaking to the beats serving up cocktails swirled with Evian. Evian being one of the major sponsers, I was lucky to get these photos and some quotes of some of the star chefs from public relations, Katie Murphy of 5WPR.com.
“Bobby Flay took a moment in between bites at Burger Bash to pose with the Evian Girls. The grilling guru was overheard exposing another one of his secrets, commenting that “Evian is my only water. I bathe in it. I cook my pasta in it.”
Rachael Ray! just being her usual adorable self. inner and outer pizzazz. “Rachael Ray, the host of Burger Bash, was caught chugging an Evian and remarking how the water “helps the burgers go down.”
Here is Maestro Mix Chris Cardone swirling up some gems. According to Katie, “The following evening, master Mixologist Chris Cardone served up specially created Evian Mocktails at the Sweet event. Originally created at the Evian Royal Resort in France, the Evian Rose and Evian Mint, which were both served for this affair, merge the pleasure of roses and the fresh scent on mint with the hydrating and healthy quality of Evian.”
King of Cocoa Jacques Torres! He makes some mean cocoa… Better knock on his door for Halloween. Now they know why I love New York! Knock for trick-or-treat and get artisanal chocolates and Evian. Sheesh… I wish! “French transplant and chocolate maven Jacques Torres served up Evian to his guests with a pair of tongs, a method as unique as his personality”
