Different Cups, Different Tastes

sugarbowlWhen I brew a cup of coffee, it’s a no brainer. Two teaspoons of sugar and a generous splash of low-fat milk.

When I steep a cup of tea, likewise, it’s a no brainer. About a teaspoon of honey (desert mesquite honey, to be exact). Nothing else.

But for my husband, it’s a little different. Sugar and half and half in his coffee; half and half and raw sugar in his tea.

A milk product? In tea? He totally loses me there. I just don’t like that thickness to my tea. Tea, to me, is a light drink. Something that relaxes instead of revs.

What’s your tea style?
