Tea Illustration of Commander in Chief Obama

img_intro_1.jpg

Good vibrations permeate the land with warmth and peace, a world renewed….  I smile today, and my tea smiles back at me? Oh, but this is by a very talented artist who can create art with tea!

If you look closely, you will realize this is a very special portrait made of botanicals. This tea illustration is of our very own Commander in Chief, President Obama by Jack Cheng. That’s the Obama effect, an effect of joy. How appropos. Obama means joy in Kenyan.

image401.jpgThe illustration is made out of rooiboss thistle and dried fruits. It looks as though the tea leaves are smiling and singing, as if Mother Nature herself celebrates the embrace of hope and change. The tisane itself is a blend called Drink for Change (Obama Blend).  Jack Cheng’s tea portrait is also featured as the cover of Tea, A Magazine, a great resource for tea inspiration by Pearl Dexter.
