Cupcakes at Starbucks?
Yup. I had to blink twice and rub my eyes to be sure too, but now you can get your cupcake and java fix at the same time. Cupcakes have arrived at Starbucks. Now before you get all excited, they’re not available at all Starbucks’ locations (much like their other bakery items). Out of the five (!) Starbucks that are within two miles of our house, I’ve only seen the cupcakes offered at one of their locations so far. Go figure.
There are a few different varieties available - so far I’ve seen a Red Velvet one and these Double Chocolate ones that I purchased the other day. Purely for research purposes, of course. I should have written down the price, but I think they were approximately $1.95 each, and if you buy four, the fourth one was only 40 cents more or so, so that was a hard deal to pass up.
How do they taste? Well, for that, you’ll have to visit our Sugar Savvy site … there will be review coming there this week. Until then, if you’re a cupcake fiend like I am, you just may want to head to your nearest Starbucks. Bon Appetit!
